Joe Sever


Joe Sever, Advisor specializing in Forte’s BioBusiness and Community Real Estate practices. Prior to joining Forte, Joe played seven seasons as a professional baseball player living in Arizona, Ohio, North Carolina, and Virginia. After being named Player of the Year and earning All-American honors at Pepperdine University, Joe was selected in the 2012 MLB player draft by the Cleveland Indians. During his time with the Indians, Joe was selected to the New York Penn All Star game in 2012 (A) and the Eastern League All Star game in 2018 (AA), as well as being named a 2017 Cleveland Indians Organizational All Star.


Throughout his baseball career, Joe always invested his time and efforts into nonprofit volunteer work and youth coaching.

After retiring from baseball in 2019, Joe finished his degree at Santa Clara University, earned his Colorado Brokers License, and completed coursework in commercial real estate investment and analysis at M.I.T.

A California native, Joe has settled and made his home in Denver with his wife Katie and their dog Zuma. He enjoys golf, mountain biking, skiing, and many other outdoor sports.
