We couldn’t agree more with the Denver Business Journal article from last week, which underscored the critical need to address Colorado’s childcare challenges and the opportunity that resolving these issues could unlock for our state’s workforce.
According to a new report released on October 31 by the Common Sense Institute Colorado, in collaboration with EPIC, Executives Partnering to Invest in Children (EPIC), “The 10,200 Colorado mothers unable to work due to child care issues could generate $3.8 billion for the state’s gross domestic product and create 29,000 total jobs if those challenges were resolved and they chose to return to work.” (Denver Business Journal, 2024)
If you’re an employer facing recruiting difficulties and seeking innovative ideas for onsite or near-site early childcare strategies to better support your employees, we’d love to assist you.
