Liza is a proven problem solver with a keen sense for connecting the right people to create an effective team that’s greater than the sum of its parts. For the past 15 years, she has specialized in helping middle market companies in Colorado make strategic realestate decisions to drive growth. She has been active with the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), serving on the board the last 3 years and leading the organization’s Collaborative Leadership initiative. Liza has worked with many other organizations in the Denver community, including: the Colorado Bioscience Association, PRIME Health, the Outdoor Industry Association, Naturally Boulder, Go Red for Women through the American Heart Association, Financial Executives International (FEI), the Colorado Bar Association, and WoMAN (Women of M&A Network). She also supports organizations that serve women and children, including Mercy Housing, The Kempe Foundation, The Children’s Hospital, Alliance for Choice in Education (ACE), and Goodwill.
She’s learned a great deal about people in her years of business development work and community involvement and hopes to continue helping companies grow by partnering with the right teams to make smart real estate choices. Her family’s background in farming provided a unique education about the importance of effective land and property management in running a successful business. With her role at Forte, she is connecting her passions for helping companies grow, building teams, and serving the community.
Liza received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with emphasis in finance and communication from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She then went on to earn her law degree at UNL’s College of Law, focusing on corporate and real estate issues. She is licensed to practice law in Colorado.
She resides in Denver’s Washington Park neighborhood with her husband, Ryan, their son, Maddux, and their giant Airedale terrier, Tanner. She balances her work life with walking in the park, yoga, golf, tennis, boating, stand-up paddle boarding, skiing, snowshoeing, live music concerts, spending time with family, and traveling. She might even take up the banjo soon!
